Abstract

This paper reviews the advantages and disadvantages of the common methods for determining rare earth elements. Special attention is focused on ICP-AES, a method used to determine the 15 rare earth elements on mud-mineral. A series of experiments testifies that ICP-AES is convenient, efficient and accurate.
