Recycling technology and progress of research on chromium

  • Nowadays chromium and its compounds are widely used in lots of industries. But the trivalent chromium (Cr3+) and hexavalent chromium (Cr6+) always exist in the waste water and the waste residues are regarded as environment pollution. In this paper, all kinds of current recycling technology and process for chromium as waste water and residues are discussed and analyzed comprehensively. Most of present technologies and processes are aimed to make them useful resources, which increase not only economic benefit but also social benefit via environment protection.
