Abstract: The optimal work condition of instrument and experiment are selected through a thorough study on the determination of trace calcium.The samples dissolved in hydrochloric acid and nitric acid, the satisfactory results of atomic absorption spectrophotometry combined with standard addition method is employed to determine trace calcium in highly purity RE samples.
