Abstract:
The synthesis methods of cathode material LiCoO
2, LiNiO
2, LiMn
2O
4 and Li-V oxides for Li-ion batteries are reviewed.The influence of elements such as Al, Ni, Ti and so on, upon the capacity and cycle properties of LiCoO
2, LiNiO
2, LiMn
2O
4and Li-V oxides are summarized also.In this paper, by analysing the structures, charge/discharge capacity and cost of material of LiCoO
2, LiNiO
2, LiMn
2O
4 and Li-V oxides, LiMn
2O
4 and Li-V oxides are the promising cathode materials for new-generation and high-performance Li-ion batteries.
