Abstract: Mine ventilation system is one of the eight systems of underground mining in metal & nonmetal mines, and its establishment and reliable operation of ventilation system play very important roles in underground mining. As an important area in mining industry in China, with abundant mining resources, Yunnan Province has many mining companies, of which most small mines have not fully recognized the importance of setting up ventilation system. The paper brings up several ways to the set up small mines ventilation system in accordance with some existing major problems, so as to guarantee safety and reliability of underground mining in those small mines.
