Abstract: The development and application of gold extraction by thiosulfate leaching are reviewed by introducing the rough mechanisms of dissolving gold with thiosulfate and the methods of recycling gold from thiosulfate solution, and displaying the obstacles on the further application of thiosulfate in metallurgy.
