Abstract:
The double transformation and double absorption technology for acid making with gas from oxygen enrichment copper smelting in closed blast furnace and converter is adopted, a lot of problems arising in the acid making using one transformation and one absorption way are solved, such as the low transformation rate, tail gas which can not reach standards and need corresponding procedures absorbing, and high cost etc.The technology of double transformation and double absorption is not easy to achieve, because there are problems such as high amount of gas and high fluctuation rate for the density of sulfur dioxide (SO
2) and carbon monoxide (CO) in the gas from oxygen enrichment copper smelting.In this paper, the feasibility of the technology and some problems in it are discussed and some corresponding countermeasures are put forward.
