Abstract: This paper classifies the roof accidents in the process of deep mining in nonferrous metal mines, and then analyzes their reasons. It illustrates the importance of the research on the roof management during the deep mining in metal mines, and summarizes the research status of domestic roof management in deep mining in metal mines. Some research methods to implement roof dynamic grading management and corresponding measures to roofs of different levels are put forward to provide a new solution to roof management in deep mining.
