Abstract: Electricity consuming is a brief part of the production costs in electrolytic producing RE metals, reducing electricity consuming is very important to cut down the production costs. Saving electricity in RE metals electrolyzing has great potential. Different influenced factors of electrolytic producing RE metals are analysed, ways of reducing electricity consuming are put forward also.
