Abstract: The study achievements on the stability of the especially large goaf in Shizishan Copper Mine since 1980 are summed up in this paper, the formation of the goaf, the safety monitoring as well as the stability of every period of stoping aredetailed introduction also, promulgates the decisive factors of the stability of the especially goaf play a perfect directing role on the esepcially goaf.
