Abstract:
Eu
3+ doped CaF
2, SrF
2 and BaF
2 have been prepared by hydrothermal method successfully, which is presented in this paper. Rare-earth doped CaF
2, SrF
2 and BaF
2, whose luminous ability is the strongest, have been explored when their concentration is the same. It concludes that the luminous ability of Eu
3+ doped CaF
2 is the strongest of them. Besides, luminous intensity of Eu
3+ doped CaF
2 in different concentration has been explored with fluorometer. The result is that luminous intensity of Eu
3+ doped CaF
2 becomes stronger with the increasing of its concentration.
