摘要: 平板显示（FPD）技术近年来发展迅速，大有代替传统CRT显示技术的趋势。PDP和LCD作为平板显示的两大巨头产业，已占据了平板显示市场的大部分份额。笔者就PDP与LCD的原理、技术特点及未来发展趋势作了一个综合性的阐述。

Abstract: As a fast developing industry, FPD (flat panel display) technology tends to replace the traditional CRT display technology.Two flat panel display industry giants, PDP and LCD, have occupied most of the market shares. This paper presents a comprehensive exposition of the PDP and LCD principles, technical features and future development trends.
