Abstract: According to the current situation of the silo hoisting guide in some tungsten mine, the article proposes that we should compare and select seriously about the guide mode, so as to make the maximum benefit and dependable safe. In the end of the article, the author compares the defending drop system, guiding equipment and other establishment one by one. There comes the conclusion: the steel rope guide is more dependable than wooden guide on safety, and it is superior on the cost of operation, routine maintenance, examining and repairing, the processing and changing an accessory.
