Abstract: Coking wastewater is a kind of intractable wastewater which is produced in the recovery process of coal coking products. It contains high concentration of ammonia nitrogen and organic compounds. How to treat it effectively is always a hot spot for researchers at home and abroad. The paper investigates the current status of research on the treatment of coking wastewater, introduces several traditional and advanced treatment technologies, and describes in detail various technique theory and treatment effect with comparison of advantages and disadvantages of different methods. And development trends of coking wastewater treatment technology are predicted as well.
