Abstract: The basic principles of fiber optics detection technique is presented. On the base of emphasizing the importance of feedback information construction in geotechnical engineering, the superiority of the application of fiber optics detection technique to geotechnical monitoring is further discussed. And the application of fiber optics detection technique to feedback information construction in geotechnical engineering is discussed in detail.
