Abstract: The field study and assessment of the ventilation system reveals the following problems: low rate of effective airflow; internal short-circuit and ventilation leakage; poor stope ventilation; low efficiency of the main fan; ventilation cycle pollution in some parts. We optimized the design of the ventilation system, which resulted in improved ventilation conditions.
