Abstract:
In the process of tungsten, wolframite and scheelite mainly adopt gravity separation and flotation respectively.The recovery and grade of tungsten are not ideal, because gravity cannot recover the fine grain of wolframite efficiently and flotation is difficult to separate scheelite from calcium minerals.Therefore, it is necessary to study on the surface properties of wolframite and scheelite in-depthly.The paper introduces the research status of wolframite and scheelite in surface features. Factors such as the fracture of key on the surface, surface chemical composition, surface anisotropy, surface electrical as well as the surface dissolved components on the flotability of tungsten are Expounded. The future research direction and method of the surface characteristics of tungsten is prospected.
