Effect of Ni content on the performance of Cu-xNi-35Fe/8Gr wear resistant materials

  • 摘要: 本文研究Ni含量对铜基石墨复合材料(Cu-xNi-35Fe/8Gr)组织、力学性能与摩擦磨损性能的影响。添加质量分数为0~25%的Ni时, Cu-Ni-35Fe/8Gr的微观组织均匀。当Ni含量从0增至15%时,复合材料的硬度从59 HB提升到70 HB,抗拉强度从81 MPa提升至101 MPa,抗弯强度从161 MPa提升至220 MPa。Ni的添加也提升了材料的摩擦磨损性能,干摩擦系数降低10%,为0.18,磨损率从16 mg/h降低至7 mg/h。说明添加适量的Ni可提升材料的综合力学性能,降低摩擦系数,形成平整且稳定的摩擦表面,减缓黏着磨损,从而提升Cu-Ni-35Fe/8Gr材料的综合性能。

     

    Abstract: The present study investigated the influence of Ni content on the microstructural characteristics, mechanical properties, and tribological behavior of copper matrix graphite composites (Cu-Ni-35Fe/8Gr). With the addition of 0~25% Ni by mass fraction, the microstructures of Cu-Ni-35Fe/8Gr exhibited a homogeneous distribution. As the Ni content increased from 0% to 15%, a significant enhancement in hardness from 59 HB to 70 HB, tensile strength from 81 MPa to 101 MPa, and bending strength from 161 MPa to 220 MPa was observed. The addition of Ni also improved the friction and wear properties of the material, reducing the dry friction coefficient by 10% to 0.18 and the wear rate from 16 mg/h to 7 mg/h. The findings suggest that incorporating an appropriate Ni content can effectively improve the comprehensive mechanical properties, reduce the friction coefficient, facilitate the formation of a smooth and stable friction surface, and mitigate adhesive wear, consequently enhancing the overall performance of Cu-Ni-35Fe/8Gr composites.
