Abstract:
The inhibiting action of imidazoline on corrosion of 2099 Al-Li alloy in 3 % It referstothe mass fraction NaCl solution was investigated by polarization curve, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and scanning electron microscopy (SECM). The results showed that imidazoline had a good corrosion inhibition effect. When the concentration of imidazoline reached 0.01 mmol/L, the inhibition efficiency was above 77 %. Both polarization and AC impedance tests verified this effect. The inhibiting action of 0.01 mmol/L inhibitor on 2099 Al-Li alloy in 3 % NaCl+5 mmol/L KI solution was investigated by scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM). The results indicated that under the effect of corrosion inhibitor, both the current peaks and strength of alloy decreased.
