Zn/Fe液流电池石墨毡电极研究

On graphite felt electrode for Zn/Fe redox flow battery

  • 摘要: 将离子修饰后的石墨毡用作Zn/Fe液流电池电极.利用H2O2将石墨毡表面处理后放在装有硝酸钴和硝酸镍溶液中,并且在60 ℃水浴下处理24 h.利用SEM和EDS对修饰后的石墨毡进行表面形貌分析和元素分析,并研究修饰后的石墨毡对Zn/Fe液流电池电化学性能的影响.结果表明,修饰后的石墨毡,其氧化峰和还原峰明显变高,内阻减小;修饰后的石墨毡作为电极时,其充放电容量增大,库仑效率达到80 %.

     

    Abstract: Ion-modified graphite felt was used as electrode of Zn/Fe flow battery. After the graphite felt was treated with H2O2, it is placed in a solution of cobalt nitrate and nickel nitrate, which is treated in 60 ℃ water bath for 24 hours. The surface morphology and elemental analysis of the modified graphite felt were carried out by SEM and EDS. In addition, the effect of modified graphite felt on the performance of Zn/Fe flow battery was studied. The results show the oxidation peak and reduction peak was significantly higher, the internal resistance decreases when graphite felt is modified; and when the modified graphite felt as the electrode for Zn/Fe flow battery, the charge-discharge capacity increases and the coulomb efficiency is about 80 %.
