Abstract:
The contents of 14 rare earth elements in yttrium iron alloy were determined by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry. The matrix effect was adjusted by approximate matrix matching method. The spectral lines are optimized through analyzing the interference of coexisting elements to rare earth elements. The influence of matrix changes on the determination results was investigated. The determination range of 14 kinds of rare earth elements was 0.005 0 %~0.20 %. The relative standard deviations (
n=11) of the determination results were 0.88 %~7.20 %, and the recoveries were 97.44 %~103.28 %. The method is fast and accurate and can be used for product testing.
