Abstract:
The grade of copper in a copper converter slag is 2.78 %. Copper is mainly existd in the slag in the form of iced copper microbeads. The distribution of matte copper is more dispersed, and the size of the embedded copper is disproportionate, which makes it difficult for the monomer to dissociate. To recover secondary resources efficiently, a flotation test was conducted in view of the characteristics of the copper converter slag. The results showed thatcopper concentrate, with the grade and recovery being 31.64 % and 94.16 % respectively, were obtained when the grinding fineness of less than 0.074 mm accounted for 80 %, ester -200 as collector, roughing time under the condition of 9 min.
