Abstract:
Weathered crust of elution-deposited rare earth ores have gone through pool leaching, heap leaching and in-situ leaching. The third method is used at present. Study on leaching kinetics of the ores can improve the leaching efficiency and recovery rate of resources. It can also provide a theoretical basis for efficient and scientific exploitation of them and further improve the theory and technology of in-situ leaching of rare earth. Therefore, this paper studied the basic theory of the leaching kinetics on such ores. In the light of the existing mineral leaching techniques, this study pointed out factors that could affect leaching efficiency and put forward measures that could increase the leaching rate for the ores.
