Abstract:
LiNi
1/3Co
1/3Mn
1/3O
2 cathode materials were synthesized by co-precipitation method and high temperature solid-state method. The crystal structure and morphologies of LiNi
1/3Co
1/3Mn
1/3O
2 were characterized by XRD and SEM, respectively. The effects of sintering temperature on the electrochemical properties of the composites were studied. The results show that the material calcinated at 850 ℃ exhibits the best electrochemical performance. When cycled at 25 ℃ under 1 C charged and 6 C discharged in the voltage range of 2.75~4.2 V, the sample delivers an initial discharge specific capacity of 124.2 mAh/g with capacity retention rate of 95.2 % after 50 cycles.
