Abstract:
The phosphorus-copper anode samples were dissolved in hydrochloric acid and hydrogen peroxide solutions and the concentration of phosphorus was rapidly determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Under optimized operating conditions, interference from multi-atomic ions such as
14N
16OH,
15N
16O could be eliminated effectively to meet the requirements of the measurement for phosphorus-copper anode samples by using ICP-MS. According to this method, the relative standard deviation (RSD) is about 1.54 %~3.67 %, and the recovery rate is in the range of 95 %~105 %. Meanwhile, the accuracy of this method is also evaluated with national standard reference materials to develop a novel method for the rapid, convenient and accurate determination of phosphorus in the phosphorus-copper anode by using ICP-MS.
