Abstract: Methods to prepare CNTs reinforced aluminum matrix composites were discussed to analyze the characters, advantages and disadvantages of the various methods. Advantages of characters of CNTs reinforced aluminum matrix composites including mechanical properties were summarized in comparison with traditional alloys, and its development prospects were also presented.
