Abstract:
Detailed study of process mineralogy was carried out on a copper sulphide ore to compare the different effect of using butyl xanthate and ester-105 as collector by adopting the process of Cu-preference flotation according to the characteristic of the ore. The results show that using the ester-105 as the collector can save lime dosage in the Cu-flotation stage, and the preferential flotation of Cu can be realized by replacing the vitriol with new activator in the S-flotation stage. The closed circuit test shows the copper grade of the concentrate obtained through the technology is 18.93 % with recovery of 94.31 %, and the sulfide grade of the concentrate obtained is 33.46 % with recovery of 55.39 %.
