Abstract: Based on the problem of dust pollution during the course of transportation at strip mine and the aspect of dust-generating mechanism and dust-suppressing principle, the latest researches on road dust suppressants were reviewed. The development of new composite dust suppressants, which enjoy characteristics of long dust suppressing validity, low cost and short of secondary pollution, should be the research direction for the future dust control technology.
