Abstract:
Though the mechanical properties of the materials have great effect on the filling, there have been few studies on the mechanical properties of materials in blocky rock cemented filling. The stress-strain relationship curves and load-time curves of each component of filling body are obtained by the single shaft compression and tensile tests. The experimental results show that the materials in blocky rock cemented filling intensity is different; aggregate strength is far greater than the tailings backfill and aggregate-tailings specimens; aggregate and aggregate-tailings specimens peak stress drop faster showing brittle characteristics; tailings filling specimens after reaching the peak value stress decline slowly, because of residual strength; tailing filling body and aggregate specimens in uniaxial loading conditions display four stages:initial densification, linear elastic deformation, plastic deformation and instability and failure.
