Abstract:
T-BAMBP extraction system with xylene as diluent was taken to separate rubidium from brine contained high potassium and sodium. The influences of organic phase composition, feed liquid alkalinity,organic-aqueous phase ratio, extraction time and temperature on extraction and separation efficiency were researched. The results showed that extraction rate of rubidium after five stage countercurrent extraction can reach 95.5% using 30% volume fraction t-BAMBP contained organic extractant with 0.4mol/L feed liquid alkalinity,0.0117mol/L initial concentration of Rb
+,1:1 phase ratio, 4 minutes extraction time and 21℃ extraction temperature. Highly purified rubidium salt can be obtained through multistage extraction.
