Abstract:
The one-dimensional LiNi
1/3Co
1/3Mn
1/3O
2 nanofiber was synthesized by electrospinning and characterized by means of scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), charge and discharge tests, CV and EIS to reveal the surface morphology, crystal structure and electrochemical properties. The results show that, the diameter of nanofiber is found to be in the range of 150~300 nm, and the typical α-NaFeO
2 structure is certified. The capacity retention ratio of the prepared LiNi
1/3Co
1/3Mn
1/3O
2 nanofiber reached 94.1% at the rate of 0.5 C (85 mA/g) after 30 cycles. In the rate performance tests, the cathode materials show discharge capacities of 157 mAh/g、144 mAh/g、134 mAh/g、125 mAh/g、115 mAh/g and 141 mAh/g at the rates of 0.1 C、0.2 C、0.5 C、1.0 C、2.0 C and 0.2 C, respectively. The prepared material shows outstanding reversibility and cycle stability. The LiNi

1/3Mn
1/3O
2 nanofiber benefitting from its special one-dimensional morphology exhibits excellent electrochemical performance.
