Abstract:
It is necessary to study further interaction mechanisms between bioleaching microorganisms and min- erals to improve metal extraction efficiency and to control acidic mine drainage formation. Various theoretical methods and detection technologies play decisive roles during the studies of interactions between bioleaching microorganisms and minerals. In order to make the most use of various methods and technologies in the studies of interactions between bioleaching microorganisms and minerals, this paper proposes that the combination of various research methods is the better way of detecting interactions between bioleaching microorganisms and minerals by summarizing physical and chemical research methods of interactions between bioleaching microor- ganisms and mineral, surface composition detection techniques and morphology detection techniques.
