Abstract:
Using sodium chloride and potassium chloride as molten salts, (La,Ce,Tb) PO
4 was prepared through molten salt method in this paper. Morphology, phase, particle size and luminescent properties were measured and analyzed by SEM, XRD, laser particle size and luminescence spectrum. The effects of amount of compound molten salt, sintering temperature and time on properties of the phosphor were studied. Then the reaction mechanism was discussed. The results indicate that high performance (La,Ce,Tb) PO
4 green emitting phosphor whose peak intensity is higher than that of the phosphor prepared by high temperature solid state reaction can be obtained when the optimal ratio of the compound molten salt to precursor is 2.5~3.5,and the best condition for roasting is 900 ℃ holding for 3 h.
