Abstract: The Prospecting of Menqianshan gold deposit enriched deep and side prospecting theory in Jinshan gold field. Gold prospecting in the mining area confirmed the major shear zones and gold body’s deep inclination. The tectonite zoning and alternation zoning of shear zone are clear, with a typical “ultramylonite, mylonite zone of quartz, pyrite, iron Petrochemical Zone -Gold (body)” with tectonic rock -alteration -gold mineralization characteristics of three-in-one. The deposit is characteristic of the comprehensive metallogenic model of “volcano sedimentary- regional metamorphic dynamic metamorphism - ductile shear zone ore controlling ore - reformation and superposition”. It is metamorphic hydrothermal type gold deposits ,controlled by the ductile shear belt. The article states the ore -forming geological background, ore types, ore characteristics and structure, wall rock alteration characteristics, ore-controlling ductile shear belt and geological characteristics. The direction of further prospecting is also put forward.
