  • The electric locomotive of resistance speed is widespread used in Chin's tungsten mine. Problems such as high failure rate, high maintenance cost and workload and great electrical energy waste are frequent in the electric locomotive. This paper studies AC frequency conversion technology application with DC traction electric locomotive. Under the existing lines condition of the underground mining, we transform the resistance speed locomotive and develop the locomotive sample. Adaptive testing are performed on these samples in the tungsten mine.
