The fractal study on the damage of joint rock mass
The dimension of initial damage is presented on the basis of the damage model of rock material.The constitutive equation of damage is deduced combining damaging mechanics with fractal theory.And the parameter m expressing the damage degree of rock mass is analyzed qualitatively, as well as the relationship between m and D.Finally the paper gives the method how to define the parameter m and D.
