On the Flotation Test of a New Nickel Minerals Collector

  • In line with low grade nickel and dropping recovery rate by traditional flotation method, this paper experiments on CH12 as a new collector. The nickel recovery rate reaches 90.43 % when the powder grade is 76 % for the super fine powder of -0.074 mm. The results show that CH12 is effective for nickel flotation. Using the depressor of CMC to depress the vein stone the preparation concentrate grade could increase to 6.85 % which could be used for industry smelting.
