Evaluation Research on Heavy Metal Pollution of Farmland Soils Along Highways of Different Levels in Ganzhou City

  • By using single-factor pollution index method and Nemerow index method, the paper mainly investigates into the heavy metals (Pb, Cd, Cu, Zn) content and pollution evaluation on the farmland soils along the three-level highways between Zhanggong district Ganzhou city and Wangmudu town Ganxian county, namely national highway 323 (G323 for short), provincial highway 234 (S234 for short), and county highway 348 (X348 for short). The result indicates that the scope of X348 ≤100m, S234≤200m and G323 ≤100m are polluted by heavy metals. The orders of the heavy metals pollution composite indexes are: G323 (3.401)> S234 (2.795)> X348 (2.682); northeast side of X348(2.763) >southeast side of X348(2.600); west side of S234 (2.941) >east side of S234 (2.648); northeast side of G323 (4.038) >southeast side of G323 (2.764).
