Application of Global Positioning System in Strip Mine

GPS slope displacement observation system is set up based on the condition of Jinchuan strip mine.The system includes fixing monitoring mark and area, laying out monitoring network etc.The analysis of the monitoring data proved that GPS can satisfy the accuracy and the requirement of mine deformation monitoring by achieving profitable results.
