  • In this paper, the experimental investigation of separating whole grade ilmenite by SLon vertical ring and pulsating hi gh gradient magnetic separators in Ti dressing plant of Panzhihua Iron and steel company is introduced. In this experiment, the magnetic separation_flotation_electrical concentration circuit composed by SLon vertical ring and pulsating high gradient magnetic separators is adopted, and magnetic separation_flotation circuit as well. The result of it as follows: the grade of concentrate is greater than 47%, the rate of recovery is 46.25% to 44.58%. The plant has recovered Ti concentrates over 500 000t these years and the output value is added 252 800000 yuan. It is provided a new way for technical innovation of this plant.
