Effect of Fluxes Agent on Crystal Structure, Morphology and Luminescence Intensity of (Ce0.67, Tb0.33) MgAl11O19 Green Phosphors

Abstract
(CeO0.67, Tb0.33)MgAl11O19 (CMAT) phosphors were synthesized by high temperature solid state reaction. MgF2, AlF3, Li2CO3 and H3BO3 were chosen as fluxes agents, whose influences on phase purity, particle morphology and luminescence intensity of phosphors were investigated. The results indicated that CMAT phosphors presented better results in phase purity, particle morphology and luminescence intensity when applying H3BO3 as fluxing agents than the other 3 fluxing agents.
