On the Deformation Characteristics of Dense Schistose Phyllite Slope

Illustrated by the case of slope in an open pit mine, a lot of facts from field investigations showed the deformation model of dense schistose phyllite slope. The results show that: the major form is bending and breaking in multi-mode damage of slope. Accompanied with this process, a potential slip surface develops gradually in the slope.
