New process technology on a micro-disseminated refractory gold ore

  • A low-grade gold ore is characterized by low sulfur, semi-oxidation and micro fine impregnated structure. Conventional mineral processing technology failed to recover the micro-fine gold. Process mineralogy shows that 23.05 % gold is encapsulated in gangue. The recovery is low when using all-sliming cyanidation or fine grinding-flotation. Based on the process mineralogy, a fine gold recovery of 94.33 %, which is almost 25 % higher than conventional cyanide leaching is obtained through superfine-grinding technology.
