Practice in Improving Zinc Recovery Rate by Means of Floating Copper & Lead but Depressing Zinc

  • Aiming at the problem of the drugs dispensation in the technics program of floatation copper & lead but depress zinc in Baoshan Mill of Danping Tungsten Industry Limited Company, a new drugs dispensation has been made. Sulfureted sodium(Na2S)+ZnSO4is used to depress zinc & sulful instead of sodium sulfite(Na2SO3)+ ZnSO4, and, the mixed drugs made of xanthate and aerofloate is used to floating copper & lead instead of aerofloat. Comparing the results between before changing drugs dispensation and after that, the recovery rate of the zinc has been improved 2 % higher and a better economic effect has been got.
