"Black stripe" Defect of Copper Tubes Result from Planetary Rolling-draw

"black stripe" is a kind of defect on planetary rolling-draw copper tubes. This paper analyzes the features, characteristics and distribution of 'black stripe' by studying the nature and causes of 'black stripe'. We also put forward some measures in the rolling process, such as, roll planet uniform cooling, reducing roll cooling strength and roller intensity, etc., to effectively reduce or avoid 'black stripe' production.
