Experimental Study on the Beneficiation Process for a Copper -tungsten -molybdenum Ore from Jiangxi

  • A copper-tungsten-molybdenum ore from Jiangxi contains mainly chalcopyrite、molybednite and wolframite as valuableminerals that are associated with magnetic pyrite.Beneficiation tests were made on this ore to provide a basis for its exploitation andutilization.Analyses the dressing experiment research. Test by comparison, The first, using Cu-Mo mixing floatation, Then, Cu-Mo separation, last, wolframite recovery by gravity separation. Which obtained copper concentrate grading 91.35 % at a recovery of 26.38 %; molybdenum concentrate grading 83.54 % at a recovery of 51.23 %; tungsten concentrate grading 71.25 % at a recovery of 52.58 %. Achieving a good comprehensive recovery of the valuable elements of the ore.
