Extracting Cobalt from the Remaining Liquid of Waste Neodymium, Ferrum, Boron and Reclaimed Rare-earth(RE) through Vulcanizated Precipitation Process

  • To use agent 1 as reducing agent, under moderate stress, use agent 2 as neutralizer and agent 3 as precipitator, to research how the dosage of agent 1 and agent 3, the balancing pH value, the reaction temperature, the time and other factors make effect on the vulcanizated precipitation process for extracting Cobalt. The simulation experiments show that when the dosage of agent 1 is 9 % of the Fe dosage, the dosage of agent 3 is 1.4 to 1.6 times as much as theoretic dosage, the balancing pH value is between 5.0 and 5.5, the reaction time is 2 to 3 hours in 80-100 ℃ and the grade of the valuable Cobalt in the concentrate is above 12 %, then the recovery rate of Cobalt will be above 97 %.
