Rare-earth luminescent materials prepared by hydrothermal method and their luminous intensity

  • Eu3+ doped CaF2, SrF2 and BaF2 have been prepared by hydrothermal method successfully, which is presented in this paper. Rare-earth doped CaF2, SrF2 and BaF2, whose luminous ability is the strongest, have been explored when their concentration is the same. It concludes that the luminous ability of Eu3+ doped CaF2 is the strongest of them. Besides, luminous intensity of Eu3+ doped CaF2 in different concentration has been explored with fluorometer. The result is that luminous intensity of Eu3+ doped CaF2 becomes stronger with the increasing of its concentration.
