Development Status of Lead Smelting Technology and the Lead Vortex Flash Smelting Process

  • Lead is an important raw materials for developing national economy. However, the conventional sintering -blast furnace process has some defects, such as high energy consumption and heavy pollution. Therefore, to accelerate the scientific and technological progress of lead smelting is important for national economy development. Some new lead direct smelting technologies, including Kivcet, QSL, Kaldo, Ausmelt/Isasmelt and SKS, were summarized. The technological process, main equipment and technical characteristics of lead vortex flash smelting technology were mainly introduced, which has china independent intellectual property rights.
