Abstract
Thiourea-fluoride spectrophotometric method is adopted to enhance the determination accuracy of bismuth in electrolytic solution of copper. Ammonium hydrogen fluoride as masking agent of antimony, and thiourea as chromogenic agent of bismuth as well as masking agent of copper, is used in the experiments. The influence of ammonium hydrogen fluoride volume on masking capability to antimony and volume of thiourea on color capability to bismuth is also investigated. The experiments showes the method can eliminate interference of antimony effectively with large linearity range, simple operation, high accuracy and small RSD.
